How Pool Mining Works

The pool coordinates the work of connected miners. It distributes computational tasks among them, receives their results, and tracks each participant's contribution.

When one of the pool participants finds a block, the resulting block reward is recorded by the pool and then distributed among participants according to the selected payout system.

Why Combine Computational Power

The probability that a small individual miner will independently find a block can be very low. Combining a large number of devices increases the total computational power and therefore the frequency of blocks found by the group.

For an individual participant, this changes the income structure: instead of a rare large event, the participant receives smaller payouts corresponding to their contribution to the pool's overall work.
