Invalid Share

Invalid Share is a computational result that fails the pool’s validation. Unlike a stale share, the problem is not simply that the result arrived too late: the result itself does not meet the requirements of the current job or the pool’s validation rules.

Common Causes

Why Invalid Shares Matter

During troubleshooting, invalid shares should be distinguished from stale shares and other forms of rejected shares, because their causes and corrective actions can differ.
