Different algorithms (Blake (2s-Kadena) vs SHA-256) mean different strategies: KD5 mines Kadena, while WhatsMiner M30S+ is focused on Bitcoin, Fractal Bitcoin. Model Goldshell KD5 is presented exclusively in a configuration with 18Th, other power options are not provided for this series. MicroBT WhatsMiner M30S+ has several versions, with hashrate starting from 90Th and going up to 106Th. Model KD5 18Th has a power consumption of 2250 Watts, while WhatsMiner M30S+ 106Th consumes 3604 Watts. Both miners use air cooling, which requires good room ventilation.
